What we store, and who can see it.

What is blocking you, the outcome you want, any context you chose to share, your budget range and timing, and your email address. Your name only if you give it.

We also record which campaign or website brought you here, so we know where to reach people who need this. That is not tied to anything you typed.

We do not have access to your code, your accounts or your product. Connecting a repository is arranged separately, with you, only after you pick an expert.

To read your request, find an expert who has solved that kind of problem, and email you back. That is the whole purpose, and it is why we ask for an email address rather than an account.

We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to a newsletter.

The HumanPatch team, and the experts we approach about your specific request — they see the problem, the outcome you want and the context, so they can propose a solution.

Links, screenshots and repository names are only shared with the expert you choose.

In a managed Postgres database hosted in the European Union, and in the inbox we use to reply to you. Both are protected in transit and at rest.

While we are working on your request, and for up to 12 months afterwards so we can pick the thread back up if you return. After that it is deleted.

Write to hello@humanpatch.dev and we will send you a copy of what we hold, correct it, or delete it. No form, no account needed.

If you are in the EU or UK, those are your rights under the GDPR, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

While you are writing a request, it is saved in your own browser so you do not lose it. Nothing reaches us until you press Request my Patch.
